ZAND has won the prize for Best Fiction Film during the 35th Badalona
International Short Film Festival Filmets. Actors Veerle Witkop and Jack
Wouterse won awards for Best Actress and Best Actor. Filmets took place from
November 6 – 14, 2009 in Barcelona.
Additionally, Sand won the Grand Prix and the ´Si Loin Si Proche´ prize during
the `Courts Devant - Festival des Films Courts qui Avancent´ (November 5 – 8,
2009) in Paris.
